Inkheart

The movie is all about a Twelve year-old girl named whose life changes dramatically when she realizes that her father, a bookbinder named Mortimer has an extraordinary ability. When he reads out loud, he can take characters from the book into the actual world. Meggie and Mo's journey takes them all over Europe, particularly Italy, and brings them into contact with many unusual characters.
